3 COVID-19 patients discharged from Entebbe Grade B Hospital

Today, The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister of Uganda, Hon. Ruhakana Rugunda officially announced the discharge of 3 patients from Entebbe Grade B Hospital who were earlier diagnosed with COVID-19. “The patients we are discharging today have spent 21 days in hospital. It takes time for the viral load to go down,” said Hon. Jane Ruth Aceng, Minister of Health. “One of the COVID-19 confirmed cases, a mother delivered a baby at Entebbe Grade B Hospital last weekend. Both are both in stable condition. Her baby tested negative for COVID-19.” Dr. Henry Mwebesa, Director General Health Services – MOH.

Remember to wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Also, continue to follow WHO guidelines on social distancing, keep at least 4 meters from the individual nearest to you.
