
According to Ministry of Health – Uganda, one (1) new case was confirmed for COVID-19 out of the 1,177 samples tested. This confirmed new COVID-19 case is a 46-year-old Burundian refugee who arrived from Tanzania and was quarantined in Rakai District. Total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Uganda is now 56. More 10 patients were discharged from Entebbe Grade B Hospital. These were 5 children from the Watoto Choir, 3 of their attendants, 1 boda boda rider from Kisubi, 1 boda boda rider from Kalangala. The active covid-19 patients are now 17. This brings the total covid-19 recoveries to 38 in Uganda.
Remember to wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Also, continue to follow WHO guidelines on social distancing, keep at least 4 meters from the individual nearest to you.
