A team from Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) and Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MoICT) has visited Uganda Virus Research Institute to document work on COVID-19.
The team interviewed UVRI's Director Prof Pontiano Keleebu who briefed them on UVRI's response, testing and other ongoing research work on COVID-19 pandemic. The team was also briefed by other staff and filmed activities in the different laboratories. UVRI continues to play a significant role in the response to COVID 19 pandemic.
