A total of 1,162 samples tested negative for covid-19. 839 samples were from truck drivers at border points of entry. 323 samples were from individuals under institutional quarantine and contacts to confirmed cases in the country. Mulago hospital discharged 7 patients and Hoima Hospital discharged 1 patient who had recovered and tested negative twice for COVID-19. Total number of patients who have been discharged (recoveries) is now 20.
Remember to wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Also, continue to follow WHO guidelines on social distancing, keep at least 4 meters from the individual nearest to you.
