Uganda has recorded one new COVID-19 death bringing the total COVID-19 deaths to 33.
The Ministry of Health confirms that the deceased is a Ugandan male aged 40 years, a resident of Wakiso district.
176 new COVID cases have been confirmed by the Health Ministry from samples tested on 2nd September 2020.
4 foreign truck drivers tested positive for COVID-19 at the border points of entry and their entry into the country was not permitted.
The total cumulative confirmed COVID cases in Uganda are now 3,288.
