Uganda Virus Research Institute has benefited from three four wheel vehicles donated by the Medical Research Council/London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Research Unit.
The vehicles have been handed over to the institute at a ceremony at UVRI gardens.
Speaking at the handover ceremony the Chief Operating Officer of MRC/UVRI& LSHTM Research Unit Ruppe Susanne said the vehicles would be used to support scientific programs at the institute.
“I’m pleased that our partnership with UVRI and the work we are doing here is world leading, I hope the vehicles can be put to good use to improve research.
The UVRI Administrator Makko Musagara thanked MRC for the donation and partnership, stressing UVRI’s commitment to use and maintain the vehicles for improvement of quality research.
