Makerere University/UVRI Centre of Excellence in Infection & Immunity Research and Training (MUII-plus) donates equipment worth over 250 million shillings to the Department of Mathematics at Makerere University to enhance its capacity to contribute to global health research.
MUII Plus Director Prof Alison Elliot and the Principal of the College of Natural Sciences Prof Joseph Mugisha say the 20 high end computers and a generator will support young scientists improve their ability in bioinformatics and computational biology to solve health problems.
