
8 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Uganda on 4th May 2020.
6 confirmed cases were of truck drivers while 2 cases are from the community confirmed from the Rapid Assessment Survey.
The 6 cases were out of 2,061 samples of truck drivers tested. 5 drivers arrived via Malaba border post while 1 arrived via Mutukula border point of entry, according to the Ministry of Health.
Of the 2 cases confirmed from the community, one (1) is a resident of Kyotera district while the other is a Ugandan truck driver from Mutukula.
The total of Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Uganda is now 97.
The total samples tested on 4th May 2020 are 2,246.
The total recoveries are 55 while the total of samples so far tested is 39,232.
