Uganda has registered another COVID-19 death. The brings the total COVID-19 deaths to 13.
The Ministry of Health confirms that the deceased is a 50-year-old Ugandan Male, resident of Kiryandongo who presented with signs and symptoms for COVID-19.
49 new COVID cases have been confirmed by the Health Ministry from samples tested on 14th August 2020.
The confirmed cases are from Kampala, Wakiso, Namisindwa, Mbarara, Lamwo and Kiryandongo.
19 foreign truck drivers tested positive for COVID-19 at the border points of entry and their entry into the country was not permitted.
The cumulative total confirmed cases in Uganda are now 1,434.
