Members of Parliament Follow Up on Vaccine Investigations
The parliamentary Select Committee on STI visited the Uganda Virus Research Institute(UVRI) on Wednesday 1st December, 2021 to follow up on the vaccines investigations but also to understand what UVRI does. The team included; Hon. Kyooma Xavier, Hon. Awany Tony, Hon. Omara Paul, Hon. Silwany Solomon, Mwekwatse Sam, Kobere Betty, Bibabwa Rahma, and Malinga Titus.

ISARIC/ALERRT Clinical Characterisation Protocol (CCP) observational study
In an effort to contribute to the global research efforts into COVID-19, a team based at Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI), Uganda, is participating in the ISARIC/ALERRT Clinical Characterisation Protocol (CCP) observational study. This protocol seeks to support a rapid, coordinated clinical investigation of confirmed cases of COVID-19.
