1 new COVID-19 case confirmed out of 1,533 samples tested at Uganda Virus Research Institute on 24th April 2020.
The new case is a 43-year-old Ugandan truck driver who arrived from Kenya via Malaba.
1,116 samples tested were from truck drivers while 417 samples were from the community.
The total of Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Uganda is now 75.
11 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed out of a total of 1,331 samples tested at the Uganda Virus Research Institute on 23rd April 2020.
The new cases include 6 Tanzanian truck drivers who arrived via Mutukula Border post and 5 Kenyan truck drivers; 3 arrived via Malaba and 2 arrived via Busia border points.
2 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed out of 1,296 samples tested at Uganda Virus Research Institute on 22nd April 2020.
The new cases are a 43-year-old male Tanzanian truck driver who is a contact to a previously confirmed case and a 35-year-old male Tanzanian truck driver who arrived from Tanzania at Mutukula border from Dar Es Salaam.
1 new case of COVID-19 confirmed out of 1,019 samples tested at Uganda Virus Research Institute on 21st April 2020.
The new case is a 32-year-old Kenyan truck driver who arrived from Kenya at Malaba border, according to the Ministry of Health.
1 new case of COVID-19 has been confirmed out of the 1,177 samples tested at Uganda Virus Research Institute on 20th April 2020.
According to the Ministry of Health the new case is a 46-year-old Burundian refugee who arrived from Tanzania and was quarantined in Rakai district.
The total number of confirmed cases in Uganda is now 56.
